Description
The HONOR Magic9 Pro Max is a 6.8-inch flagship with the 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a 200MP main camera and a 200MP 3.5x periscope telephoto with ARRI colour science, plus a 50MP autofocus ultra-wide. It has an 8800mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, IP68/IP69/IP69K protection, and launched in China on 28 September 2026 with MagicOS 11 (Android 17).
China version – please read before buying
- Google Play: Not pre-installed. It can usually be added, but this is not guaranteed and it can stop working after system updates. Some Google features may not work.
- Pre-installed apps: Chinese apps and a Chinese keyboard come pre-installed. English can be selected as the system language.
- Contactless payments: Google Pay / Google Wallet tap-to-pay is not available or not guaranteed on China-version phones.
- UK networks: HONOR does not publish band details for the China model; unofficial listings show 4G B1, B3, B7, B8, B20 (800MHz) and B28 (700MHz) plus 5G n1, n3, n7, n8, n20, n28 and n78, which would cover all main UK networks – not guaranteed. VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling depend on your network supporting imported phones.
- Charger: Any charger in the box is a China-market charger and will usually need a UK plug adapter.
