Every new item from TechInOut comes with a free 6-month TechInOut warranty, included in the price. You can extend it to 12 months by ticking the Extended Cover box on the product page before you add it to your basket.
What the warranty covers
Faults caused by manufacturing or materials that appear during normal use within 6 months of delivery, or 12 months with Extended Cover.
What it doesn’t cover
- Accidental damage, drops, cracked screens or liquid damage
- Misuse, unauthorised repairs or modifications, and software changes such as rooting
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and loss or theft
How to make a claim
- Contact us by email at sales@techinout.com, by phone on +44 7342 137361, or on live chat (11am–6pm UK time, every day). Please give your order number and a short description or photo of the fault.
- We’ll help you troubleshoot first. If the item needs to come back, we’ll give you a return reference and the address to send it to.
- We repair the item through our repair partner or replace it. If neither is possible, we’ll refund you.
Postage
If an item is faulty within 30 days of delivery, we pay the return postage (see our Return & Refund Policy). After 30 days, you pay to send the item to us and we pay to send the repaired or replacement item back to you.
Why we give our own warranty
We sell international (global) versions of brand-new products. The manufacturer’s UK warranty may not cover international models, so we provide our own warranty instead.
Extended Cover: 12 months
Extended Cover is optional and can be added on the product page for 3% of the item price. It gives the same cover as the standard warranty, for 12 months from delivery instead of 6. It is a service plan provided by TechInOut, not an insurance product.
This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights, which are not affected.
