Description
Ricoh GR IIIx: what you need to know
The GR IIIx puts a 24.2MP APS-C sensor behind a 40mm-equivalent f/2.8 lens, a slightly tighter view than the standard GR’s 28mm. It was reported in August 2026 that Ricoh is ending GR IIIx production in Japan in October 2026.
Who it suits
It suits photographers who prefer a natural, normal-lens view for street, travel and portraits, in a camera weighing about 262g. Video is Full HD only, so it is aimed at stills rather than vlogging.
