Description
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is Xiaomi’s Leica co-engineered camera flagship, launched in China in December 2025, with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, a 6.9-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display and a triple Leica rear camera led by a 1-inch-type 50MP main sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto. The China version has a larger 6800mAh battery than the global model (6000mAh) and supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
China version – please read before buying
- Google Play: Not pre-installed. It can usually be installed, but this is not guaranteed and some customers report it stopping working after system updates. Some Google features may not work.
- Contactless payments (Google Wallet): NFC is fitted, but Google Pay tap-to-pay is not guaranteed on China-version phones.
- Pre-installed apps: Chinese apps and a Chinese keyboard come pre-installed. English can be selected as the system language.
- UK networks: Supports 4G B1, B3, B7, B8, B20 (800MHz) and B28 (700MHz), and 5G n1, n3, n7, n8, n20, n28 and n78 – all the main UK bands. 4G B32 is not supported (small effect on top speeds only). VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling depend on your network supporting imported phones.
- Charger: The charger in the box is a China-market charger and will usually need a UK plug adapter.
