Description
Design and Build: The Watch 3 retains a 46mm, round form factor with a stainless steel case but upgrades to a more premium and durable titanium alloy bezel. A new physical rotating crown allows for navigating menus and scrolling through notifications, accompanied by improved haptics. The screen is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal face.
Performance and Software: The watch runs Wear OS 5, providing access to the Google Play Store, Google Assistant, and Google Wallet. The dual-chip architecture allows for a “dual-engine” efficiency that enables it to last much longer than competitors, with a 3-day life even under heavy usage.
Health and Fitness Tracking: The OHealth app, which handles data, supports 100+ sports modes, with specific, advanced tracking for running, tennis, badminton, and skiing. The watch introduces a 60-second check-in to measure heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), stress, sleep quality, and vascular age.
Smart Features: The Watch 3 allows for Bluetooth calling, music control, and camera control for compatible phones.
