Description

Design and Ergonomics
The Z50 II retains a compact, lightweight design (approx. 550g with battery and card) but features a deeper, more comfortable grip similar to higher-end Z-series models. The body is weather-sealed, making it robust for travel and outdoor use. It now features a 3.2-inch fully articulating rear screen that flips to the side, allowing for better visibility during vlogging or shooting from high/low angles, unlike the old flip-down design.

Performance
With the EXPEED 7 processor, the autofocus is “streets ahead” of the original Z50, offering 3D tracking that makes it a strong contender for sports and wildlife photography. It delivers 11 fps mechanical shooting and up to 30 fps with the electronic shutter (JPEG only).

Video and Vlogging
The Z50 II is highly regarded for content creation. In addition to 4K/60p, it offers a “Product Review” mode for quick focus shifting, and a, headphone jack for monitoring audio, enhancing its use for serious creators. The camera can directly stream via USB without extra software.
