Description
The HUAWEI Mate XT 2 Ultimate Design (非凡大师) is Huawei’s second tri-fold phone, launched in China on 7 September 2026, opening from a 6.5-inch phone to a 10.2-inch screen. It uses the Kirin 9050 Pro chip with 16GB RAM, a 50MP variable-aperture main camera, 50MP 3.5x periscope and 40MP ultra-wide, a 5600mAh battery with 66W wired / 50W wireless charging, and IP58/IP59 protection. This China model runs HarmonyOS 7.0, which is not Android and has no Google services.
China version – please read before buying
- Operating system: HarmonyOS (China). This is not Android – Google Play and Android apps cannot be installed, so apps such as WhatsApp, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube and UK banking apps are generally not available. Apps come from Huawei AppGallery (China) only.
- Contactless payments: Google Pay / Google Wallet tap-to-pay is not available or not guaranteed on China-version phones.
- UK networks: Huawei does not publish the band list for this China model. Unofficial listings show UK 4G bands 1, 3, 7, 8, 20 (800MHz) and 28 (700MHz) and 5G bands n1, n3, n8, n28 and n78 (no n7 or n20), but this is not guaranteed. VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling depend on your network supporting imported phones.
- Charger: Any charger in the box is a China-market charger and will usually need a UK plug adapter.
