Description
The HUAWEI Mate 90 Pro is a 6.75-inch flagship smartphone launched in China on 1 October 2026 with the Kirin 9035 chip, a dual-layer OLED with up to 12,000 nits peak brightness, a 50MP variable-aperture main camera, a 50MP 4x macro telephoto and a 6600mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. This China model runs HarmonyOS 7, which is not Android and has no Google Play or Google services.
China version – please read before buying
- Operating system: HarmonyOS (China). This is not Android – Google Play and Android apps cannot be installed, so apps such as WhatsApp, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube and UK banking apps are generally not available. Apps come from Huawei AppGallery (China) only.
- Contactless payments: Google Pay / Google Wallet tap-to-pay is not available or not guaranteed on China-version phones.
- UK networks: Huawei has not published the network bands for this China model and no reliable listing was found, so UK 4G/5G band support (including B20 800MHz and B28 700MHz) is not guaranteed. VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling depend on your network supporting imported phones.
- Charger: Any charger in the box is a China-market charger and will usually need a UK plug adapter.
