Description
The HUAWEI Pura 90 Pro is a 6.6-inch flagship smartphone announced on 20 April 2026 with Huawei’s Kirin 9030S chip, a 50MP variable-aperture (f/1.4-f/4.0) main camera, 50MP macro-telephoto with 4x optical zoom and a 6000mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. This China-market model (MLN-AL00) runs HarmonyOS 6.1, Huawei’s own operating system, which cannot run Android apps and has no Google services or Google Play Store.
China version – please read before buying
- Operating system: HarmonyOS (China). This is not Android – Google Play and Android apps cannot be installed, so apps such as WhatsApp, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube and UK banking apps are generally not available. Apps come from Huawei AppGallery (China) only.
- Contactless payments: Google Pay / Google Wallet tap-to-pay is not available or not guaranteed on China-version phones.
- UK networks: Huawei does not publish the band list for this China model. Unofficial listings show UK 4G bands 1, 3, 7, 8, 20 (800MHz) and 28 (700MHz) and 5G bands n8, n28 and n78 only (no n1, n3, n7 or n20), so UK 5G coverage may be limited; none of this is guaranteed. VoLTE and Wi-Fi calling depend on your network supporting imported phones.
- Charger: Any charger in the box is a China-market charger and will usually need a UK plug adapter.
