Description
Design & Display
The OnePlus 13s targets users who prefer smaller phones, featuring a flat-edged design with rounded corners that bears a strong resemblance to recent iPhones. It is praised for its “Green Silk” satin glass finish and comfortable, pocketable feel. The 6.32-inch 1.5K display is considered highly responsive and bright enough for outdoor use, with excellent haptics.
Performance & Gaming
Despite its smaller size, it holds its own with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, often performing on par with larger flagships. It has a robust vapor chamber for cooling, though it can get warmer during extended high-graphics gaming compared to larger devices. It supports bypass charging for gamers.
Camera Quality
The camera focuses on a duo setup: a highly capable 50MP main sensor and a 50MP 2x telephoto sensor. While the main sensor delivers excellent, vibrant photos, the absence of an ultra-wide lens and the lack of OIS on the 2x lens are common criticisms. The 32MP selfie camera with autofocus is a highlight.
Battery Life
Battery is a major strength, with 5,850mAh lasting a full day to two days of moderate use, often outperforming its direct compact competitors.
Software & Plus Key
The phone debuts the “Plus Key,” a physical button replacing the alert slider, allowing users to quickly access AI functions, like “AI Plus Mind” (a smart assistant for summarizing and saving on-screen content), or open the camera app. OxygenOS 15 is described as fast and smooth, offering 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches
