Performance (M2): The M2 chip provides an 8-core CPU and 9-core GPU, offering a 16-core Neural Engine for AI-based features like Subject Lift and Visual Look Up. It is highly capable of handling creative tasks like video editing in Final Cut Pro or 3D rendering.
Display: Both models feature Liquid Retina IPS LCD screens with anti-reflective coatings, P3 wide color, and True Tone technology. The 11-inch model reaches 500 nits, while the 13-inch model is slightly brighter at 600 nits.
Design & Camera: The 2024 model maintains a similar design to its predecessor but features the updated landscape 12MP front camera with “Center Stage,” which keeps users in frame during video calls. It has a 12MP wide back camera capable of 4K video.
