Why is the price so different?
The cameras we sell are international stock sourced in Hong Kong, where prices are lower than UK list prices. We ship them to you with UK import duty and VAT already paid, so the price you see is the price you pay: there is no customs bill or courier fee when your parcel arrives. You can read how that works in Do I have to pay import fees on tech from TechInOut?
The honest trade-offs
- Stock: our cameras are international stock, not Nikon UK-market stock.
- Warranty: the warranty is provided by TechInOut, not by Nikon UK. See our Warranty & Repair page for the details.
- Delivery time: orders are dispatched from Hong Kong within 1–3 business days and arrive 6–9 business days after ordering by tracked courier. UK retailers can usually deliver faster.
- Returns: you can return any item within 14 days of delivery, and faulty items are covered for 30 days. See our returns policy.
