Description
Design and Display
The Moto Watch 40 is built for comfort, featuring a 26g lightweight design and a 1.57-inch rectangular LCD screen. It is designed with a sleek bezel, with a zinc alloy case that offers durability. It comes with interchangeable 18mm/20mm silicone straps, making it suitable for both active and casual wear.
Performance and Software
Running on Moto Watch OS, this watch is intended for essential smartwatch functions rather than heavy app usage. It pairs with the Moto Watch app and supports “deep integration” with Google Fit for advanced health tracking.
Health and Wellness Monitoring
The device includes a suite of health sensors, including an accelerometer, a heart rate monitor, and a SpO2 sensor. It provides 24-hour, “always-on” heart rate tracking and in-depth sleep analysis, which covers sleep stages like light, deep, and REM sleep.
Battery and Charging
One of the key selling points is the 240 mAh battery, which offers up to 10 days of battery life under normal use. It is designed for quick charging, taking only 25 minutes to fully charge.
Water Resistance
The device has an IP67 rating, which means it is resistant to dust and can handle immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, although it is not recommended for swimming or water-related sports.
