Description
The OnePlus 15 is a “performance-first” flagship designed for heavy users and gamers. It represents a significant departure from previous designs, adopting a flatter aesthetic with slimmer 1.15mm bezels and improved durability, including a specialized ceramic coating on the metal frame.
Performance and Cooling
The device is built around the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, which is complemented by a “360° Cryo-Velocity Cooling System” featuring a massive 3D vapor chamber and aerospace-grade materials to keep the phone cool during intense gaming. It also introduces a “console-grade” gyroscope and a dedicated touch chip to enhance gaming precision.
Camera System
While it drops the Hasselblad branding, the camera system is a, 50MP triple setup. It uses the new DetailMax Engine to deliver “clear, natural, and real” photos, with 4K 120fps video recording in Dolby Vision.
Battery Life
The standout feature is the 7,300mAh battery, which sets a new standard for battery capacity in a conventional flagship phone, capable of lasting up to two days under normal usage. The phone includes a 120W (or 80W in some regions) SUPERVOOC charger in the box.
Software and AI
It runs OxygenOS 16 on top of Android 16. It includes various AI features such as AI Notes, AI Unblur, and the “Plus Mind” space for organizing screenshots. The phone offers 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security updates.
