Description
The OnePlus 3T was positioned as a “Flagship 2.0” device, aiming to deliver top-tier performance at a competitive, though slightly higher, price point than the original OnePlus 3.
Performance: The Snapdragon 821 and 6 GB of RAM provided a very smooth, fast user experience suitable for heavy gaming and multitasking.
Design & Display: It retained the premium, slim, all-metal unibody design of the OnePlus 3. The 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED screen was noted for deep blacks and high contrast, though some reviewers noted the 1080p resolution was not as sharp as top-tier competitors.
Camera: Both front and rear cameras were 16 megapixels, with the front camera seeing the most significant improvement for low-light performance.
Battery & Charging: The 3,400 mAh battery combined with “Dash Charge” offered excellent battery life, capable of charging the phone to roughly 60% in just 30 minutes.
Software & Features: It featured the customized OxygenOS, which was close to stock Android but offered features like the “Alert Slider” for quick notification control. It also featured a fast, front-mounted fingerprint sensor.
