The HD 600 headphones are designed to be an honest, analytical tool. They offer a highly accurate reproduction of audio, with specialized acoustic silk used to control airflow and minimize turbulence, resulting in a sound that is described as “clinical yet never harsh”.

The design is characterized by its distinctive, albeit now discontinued, marbled blue finish on the ear cups, which has been replaced by a more modern, matte grey/black aesthetic in newer iterations.
