Design and Display
The POCO X7 features a modern design with a 3D curved 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, providing a premium feel in the hand. The display offers a sharp 1.5K resolution (2712 x 1220) and a high 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. It supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. A notable feature is its 3,000 nits peak brightness, making it highly visible in direct sunlight. It is available in Black (vegan leather option), Green, and Silver.
Performance and Hardware
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra, the X7 delivers efficient, smooth performance for daily tasks and gaming. While it is not a dedicated gaming flagship like the X7 Pro, it handles demanding titles well. It includes an IR blaster, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Camera System
The 50MP main camera uses a Sony sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), allowing for sharp, bright photos, particularly in low-light conditions. The camera system is aided by AI features, including “AI Erase Pro” to remove unwanted objects and “AI Image Expansion”. However, the 2MP macro lens is considered less useful, while the 20MP front camera is adequate for selfies.
Battery and Durability
The 5110mAh battery supports 45W fast charging, which can charge the phone to over 50% in roughly 30 minutes. It is designed for longevity, aiming to retain over 80% battery capacity after 1600 cycles. The IP68 rating makes it highly resistant to water and dust.
